I want to run my receiver battery to the back of my plane for balancing. I can't seem to find a battery extension anywhere on Tower's site. Do I just use a servo extension?
Thanks a bunch.

you can ......... or you could make your own with a soldering iron, rosin core solder, 22ga wire, and a bit of heat shrink wrap. since i've been keeping up with it...i've saved myself around 100 bucks.......more than enough to pay for the supplies and iron needed.

What Parrthd said!!!!!! I don't even buy extensions (battery or servo) anymore. I will extend the battery or servo leads by soldering in new wire to make it the length I need it to be. Much cheaper, and one less connection to fail!!!!

Soldering is a skill that all RC modelers should have IMHO. My dad taught me to solder properly when I was 8 years old, and although I hated him at the time for acting like a drill instructor about it I'm glad he did it. There's not 3 days that go by without me needing to solder something! If you don't know how to solder it's a skill well worth learning.

If you use an extension, be certain to wrap the connected connectors so they can't seperate in flight. This can be disappointing.
And mount the battery -securely-, against both fore and aft forces.
A loose battery can break structure and move the c.g.

I also do the soldering thing on all my servos and batteries when necessary. I've been soldering for more than 50 years and I solder for a living!
RCKen: You eliminate 4 sources of problems, not just one. Two pins for each end of the servo extension that you eliminate.
