Sorry, just a quick reply. Outriggers and pools don't mix unless you have an Olympic size pool.

The Depron outrigger is only 13" long and made out of Depron (Meat container foam) and 1/64" ply sheeting, problem is it won't get on plane by the time it hits the side of the pool.

I think you would be best suited for a Pool Racer like a ZigZag boat.

Otherwise it's a pretty tough task trying to make a small enough outrigger to get on plane in the span of an average pool.
