Default ParkZone conversion to Warbird Q&A

I have a F-27B ParkZone. I also have a Cub ParkZone.
The F-27 has a 480 straight drive motor and the cub has a 370 motor gear box.

I have this plane.
I am wanting to use one of the two ParkZone Electronics to get this plane in the air.
I also need to know what size and type prop would be best fit for this plane.

The Cal is not done because I need to know which way to go with the power plant. I was told a .25 should fly it nicely but thats a nitro engine. Due to the Cal not being huled it adds a little weight, so the plane I am thinking will come out a few oz'es shy of the total it is now.

I have the full set of electronics from the ParkZone planes that could make this plan RTF if they will work.
I did simply try taping the motor from the F-27 to the front and see how well it would pull. It only pulled the plane forward never moved though. One prob I think thats the cause of this is because it's such a small prop used on the foamy F-27.

I'm not sure this will even work but it would be nice if I could get some feedback.
