Make up some soapy water in a spray bottle. Place a hose or rubber tube you can blow into and with the intake port open at carb and blocking off the exhaust. Blow some pressure into engine. If when you squirt the soapy water behind the flywheel you see bubbles....then you have a bad leak there. Pull flywheel and look for a seal that may need replacing. Good luck. Capt,n
