Heat gun or iron will re-shrink the covering generally,the gun can cover to much of an area sometimes,if the covering is some hong kong phooey type it may not stretch very well,so test a small area,and increase the heat slowly.As the humidity changes so does the wood,it expands and contracts.
So, your saying that the wood expands and contracts that is why
I get pockets in the covering.
Question-1: what is the best heat gun I can buy? Should I buy one at Home Depot or are those different than the ones at a hobby store.
Question-2: What do you recomend for covering? Are there different thicknesses in coverings?
