I went with Hitec 425 in the wings. With nose pointing to the sky most of the time no need for anything more. I chose to go with a split elevator set up. I have two 425's in the tail for the elevator. Two of them are plenty of power. I placed the ruder servo inverted in the fuse behind the wing with a pull pull set up. I use a 80 oz JR servo for this one.

You can fast field charge NIMH, but not as fast as nicad. I have a 720 pack and I charge at a rate of 1 amp. Do not like pushing more than that. It takes about 40 min. You do need a charger with a delta peak sensor. Not all chargers with charge NIMH. One of the most common field chargers is the Hobico. It charges at a rate of .750 milliamp and will charge NiMH.
