try some flaps first before flaperons, I do not know what radio you are using but chances are you can control the flaps nob lowering both ailerons! with the Rx connected in chanels 1 & 6.-
if possible, practice: set flaps 10 to 15 degree and feel how much elevator you need and so on until about 30 degrees, once you get it down start playing with the flaperons.
