GP Giles 202 1/4 - flaperons
Haven't tried the flaps with up elevator mixed in yet. Waiting on good weather here. Maybe next weekend. Landing the plane has been tough for me. Comes in pretty fast and wants to bounce up with the the first touch of the gear. So I'm trying this to slow it down some on final without stalling (hopefully).
Hola Mancha, by flaperons I mean using the ailerons, both lowered at the same time with the flap switch.
By the way, I'm changing out the gear on mine to the TNT (original is bent a bit from a hard landing). Problem is when I installed the original gear, I followed the instructions and glued the landing gear cover to the gear. I'm sure I will tear this cover up when I take it off. Good news is I called Great Planes to ask if I could buy a new one. They sent me a new piece free of charge. I think that's very good service from GP. The new gear will be installed with this cover removable.
