Funny you said that. My gear is a TNT one as well. They get a log of business. It will still bend but not as easy. My plane is heavy so I expect it to bend some.

What I did on landing is to raise both (elevator and ailerons). I found that when I am on the ground, it stays there and stops quickly. Just don't do it if it bounces. Flipping the switch in the air would be disastrous (IMHO)
