Jim,
I followed the factory settings for cg and control throws. They are a good starting point. The ailerons feel a little soft but that is normal, this jet was not made to yank and bank. The elev is very responsive at the factory setting. Try to get the cg right on and the jet will land beautifully, no gyros and mixes for me. Don`t bother using the flaps for takeoff or landings, just deploy the speed brakes, hold off touching down until all of the speed is bled off and the jet will settle in nicely with no bouncing. There is no trim change at all with the speed brakes. V..
