The AP Wasp is a copy of the old pre-revlite Norvel (not sure if porting is BigMig or AME).

AFAIK, Norvel was moving their factory to a new site (still in Russia), then would be back into production.

I THINK the engine producers in China use the same machines to produce several brands of engines. My guess is that they run a bunch of X-brand, then tool up for Y-brand and run a batch of them. This is not based on fact, just a guess.

I think not all Chinese engines are the same. If I understand correctly, some are made in Taiwan and some are made in mainland China. I know TT is from Taiwan, not sure about others.

My guess is that the Cox engines would be produced exactly as they were. If they were going to make design changes, why bother? I do not have problems with the ball-socket. Usually once it is reset it stays that way for a long time. But then, I don't run them that hard.
