you are apparently confused the shine COMES FROM THE CLEAR or you can use a flatening agent or a # of other ways to make a scale finish remember too that no clear at all is needed.ppg or dupont base coats can be sprayed and then wet sandein a couple of hours testers a couple days and then you will find poor adhesion when sanding
Actually that's waht I meant (what you said), if a super gloss car-like show finish is desired I would use all PPG, but for Scale Stuff I like Testor's and then PPG FlexN'Flat (or so).
