I just picked up one of these Tamjets gear fail safe's for my Byron corsair. It's supposed to be a failsafe for when the air pressure drops to a certain level, it will automatically drop the gear for you. It looks like it will also be a failsaife if i turn the radio on with the gear switch in the up position.

I know it will probably save me some scrapes and having to repaint the bottom of my airplane!
