Would you support a new person running for District VI that would try to reduce the overspending at the AMA. I think if we can do more with less then the AMA can also stop wasting our money.

Nominations were due by June 15th. Now you have 3 years to make up your mind. Charlie Bauer (incumbent) is running unopposed.
Crash, you are not setting a good example for future office here. First as Red told you, you are starting somewhat late. Then you proposition a loaded question that many may well disagree with your concept.
Late Start evidences that you are unsure of yourself desiring the position, not aware of policies and procedures relative to both the position and obtaining the position, generally confused about your objective/s, afraid to stand up and be counted as you do not show your name and any items of identification such as AMA number, and/or address, and, as of this late date, you will be unable to advance any significant kind of
write-in campaign prior to the ballots arriving.
The loaded question states that AMA overspends. Is that different from each individual that doesn't have adequate liquid funds to cover all his time-payment-purchases, his mortgage, his credit card debt, etc.? There may well be a number of these persons that would reject your position.
In addition what makes you think AMA overspends? For sure I certainly have my opinions, but they are specific. You have not stated your specific areas where you think AMA overspends.
Of course I am NOT in Dist. VI anymore since 1985. So my statements are strictly academic. [8D]
OTOH if you have true concerns then try a write-in even at this late date. Be prepared to spend a few yankee $$$. Then you will be much better prepared plus better known in 2009.
