Default RE: Venus II

G3- Expansion #2 has the VENUS II in it.
Flew it around with the os 120fs. It flew very predictable w/ some coupling during KE flight. I had tried the supertigre .90 in the plane and it didn't have much pulling power at all. In my opinion, if this is how it would really fly with this set up, I would have to get a 1.20 2-stroke or 4. Not sure if this is the way it is in the real world flight, but I would have thought that it would have flown better. ..............
In the G3 sim, once the control deflection rates were turned up, I was able to preform some 3d. It actually did most well except for the wall\(due to the long fuse). I am excited to get this built.

UPDATED\::::I had looked at the funtana 100previously and actually bought it. I couldn't inspect it fully until I arrived at home. there were numerous burns in the covering and the cowl had areas were the fiberglass was thin. Called horrizon hobby and they wanted me to send the plane back to them to inspect it and see if it needs to be replaced\!!!! \LOL yeah right. venus II is hands down a much better built plane. I returned the funtana 100X and picked up a GMS 1.20 engine and never looked back. (yes \I know the GMS is a inexpensive engine but the 2-current large scale aircraft projects have made money tight. The 1.20 will go in the Venus II and keep the ST.90 in the piper cub w/floats.
