RE: alpha 40 reviews
I don't own one but have trained several students on this model and have found it to be a good trainer. It flies well in the wind and is very predictable in it's behavior with no surprises. Both the 40 and 60 sizes are good.
The Evolution engine on the RTF is fine and can be used on the ARF or an OS 46AX will be a VERY strong engine for it. The OS engine is more power than it needs but will also be good on future planes. The radio in the RTF is also adequate but is the basic JR Quattro, you may wish a better radio if you get the ARF.
