If I understand correctly, then what you have described is normal. Think about it, the tail rotor is blowing air to the right, which not only offsets the torque from the main rotor (stops the tail from spinning around), but it also will have the affect of making the heli want to drift to the left. In order to hover in one spot, you are going to have to be leaning a bit (just a tiny bit) to the right to off-set this thrust coming from the tail rotor.

This is why when you lift off or land, it is always the left skid that wants to lift up before the right one.
