Ive just recently (about a week) been able to get my blade off the ground and hover at knee level thanks to Radds. Im also getting familiar with the proportion pot and gain but im still pretty new to it, so its still not perfectly the way i want it...

anyhow, i dont think my problem is a result of incorrect proportion or gain and i cant figure out what it may be. Once im airborn, i can keep the tail straight with a lil rudder input but the entire heli leans to the right.......it leans right as if its getting aeileron input to the right, or as if its heavier on the right than on the left. But when its on the ground, if i lift it by the flybar the blade is perfectly level except for the nose being a bit lower as the manual states.
My first major crash (before radds) resulted in a broken main frame assembly. So i followed Bdavisons assembly and put everything back the way it was with a new mainframe assembly. It seemed to be okay once reassembled, but im nowhere near to being a pro. The only thing i can think of is to check the swashplate, and the swashplate is level....
What else should i look at or look for?
If you have any suggestions please let me know.....

Oh, its the stock setup.....stock motor/blades (not the cp pro)
i have new blades on there.
new skids
theres no pitch on the flybar paddles (shouldnt matter, but just letting you know)

Have you tried moving the trim all the way left? If you have and it didn't work, try adjusting the servo linkages. Adjust the left link half a turn down, and the right link half a turn up. Then trim from there.

If I understand correctly, then what you have described is normal. Think about it, the tail rotor is blowing air to the right, which not only offsets the torque from the main rotor (stops the tail from spinning around), but it also will have the affect of making the heli want to drift to the left. In order to hover in one spot, you are going to have to be leaning a bit (just a tiny bit) to the right to off-set this thrust coming from the tail rotor.

This is why when you lift off or land, it is always the left skid that wants to lift up before the right one.

I didnt think about adjusting the servo linkages because the swash is fairly level.....i have tried adjusting the trim all the way. But it never gets perfect. It will raise the right side a bit, but at one point it just goes to leaning to the left.....
I read the posts about it being normal to drift left, and it does make perfect sense but leaning to the right and wanting to drift right? Ill try adding a small amount of weight to the left to counter this effect and see if it makes a diff. Scotch tape should do the trick.....

What CT420 said is correct, the heli, when hovering at 2 feet, 4 feet or as high as you want to go.

It will look like it's leaning to the right about 4 or 5 degrees, it's absolutely normal. No adjustments will correct that, it's just the nature of the heli. Nothing to be concerned about.
