As far as I can see the selection of Composites in Canada is pretty limited. You might try
www.greathobbies.com . There was/is a kite shop on Granvile Island that was supposed to stock quite a few booms and a lot of carbon rod.
On a side note, which Apogee are you building? I'd love to make one but I don't have access to any molds and I couldn't trust myself to be able to faithfully reproduce the correct airfoil in wood.
