I started flying February of last year, flew my first 50cc gasser in March of this year (first anniversary of my solo flight). A 85" QQ Yak with DA-50. Hooked from the first flight!! Maidened my second gasser last weekend, a QQ 102" DA-100 on canisters. WOOOOO! I look at my glow planes and don't even want to bother taking them to the field.

The people here at RCU have helped me tons since my first post here and I was as thrilled last weekend at the end of my maiden as I was about my first solo flight

Just make sure you become anal about maintenance. Vibration is a lot worse on these birds so every couple of flights check EVERYTHING. Also, make sure you do engine on and off range checks!!
