If you have a look at the webpage, any reference of weight and power requirements has been removed. Although the downloadable manual still has power requirements of a .46 to .60 2s and .60 to .90 4s. This is not a .46 2s or .60 4s for that matter .70 4s model, not at 9 plus pounds.
I'm still very angry with Mr. Charron / MB Planes for the misinformation that we were all given about this product. So much so that I drafted a 3 page response which I have been unable to edit down to a more manageable size and probably don't need to. Mr Charron said to me during our most recent voice conversation that he didn't follow this thread and that another forum reader called him to tell him about my issues. I don't understand how a manufacturer / distributer can disregard a thread with the enormous amount of hits and posts that this thread has had.
One other note and to set the record straight for Mr. President. I was in voice contact with MB Planes on 3 previous occasions with far less than comfortable results. They are as follows:
1st contact
Called about different versions of kit materials after starting my kit and being made aware of this on this forum. I was told to not worry about it, the model will only be 6 oz. heavier.
2nd contact
I called to get missing tail pieces (see previous post). I was made to feel like a crook and told that the video would have to checked to verify this as they have had problems with people wanting spare parts in the past. I finally did get my parts.
3rd contact
I called to get landing gear wire replaced as it was bent incorrectly. I was asked if I had any wire that I could bend, no offer to replace. I made my own lg.
Based on these conversations I wasn't about to contact a company that already had my money and didn't appear to need any further business from me.
I was going to continue flying this model with the OS 120AX, but since the most recent contact with MB Planes I've decided that I can't promote / show their product. Therefore I will be taking my model to the skeet range, hopefully this weekend and let my 12 guage have it's way with it (if the range officer allows). I'll post pictures if it happen
With all that said, I must remind everyone that this is only my opinion, based on my experience with this product. Other people may have had or will have a different result. Please be your own judge. I can only guess that anyone that has a 9+ pound model that should have a weight 7.2 pounds is OK with it, I not one of them.
Without Prejudice
