From Conley who makes the Perry Pump, who says in decreases pressure, out increases pressure.

Turn the large hex nut, with the pressure nipple, counter clockwise to increase the flow. You can unscrew it until you see the edge of a black “O” ring. That is the maximum flow. Remember, for best results the pump should be mounted parallel with the wings.
