Default Perry Pump adjusting

Need some help adjusting my pump. If you are looking at the front (nipple end) of the adjusting screw, do you turn clock-wise or counter clockwise to increase pressure? I understand that counter clockwise increase pressure, but just unsure of which end to look at to get the counter clockwise rotation.

Thanks

Screwing it IN increases the pressure. Screwing it out decreases it.

No matter how you look at it, clockwise is clockwise and counterclockwise is counterclockwise. So you go clockwise (in) to increase pressure or counterclockwise (out) to decrease it.

From Conley who makes the Perry Pump, who says in decreases pressure, out increases pressure.

Doug,

Turn the large hex nut, with the pressure nipple, counter clockwise to increase the flow. You can unscrew it until you see the edge of a black “O” ring. That is the maximum flow. Remember, for best results the pump should be mounted parallel with the wings.

Best regards,

Gary L. Conley

Ok, he said pressure so I assumed this was the VP-30. Now Mr. Conely is quoting from the VP-20 manual. So which is it? The VP 30 wich regulates flow or the VP - 30 which regulates flow?
