Hi all,
I am not 100% sure how the prop effects the flying habit of a plane other then that smaller prop higher rpm and large prop slower duh hehehe. But my question is can a prop effect the stall rate of a plane coming in for a landing? Would a larger prop cause the plane to stall at a slower speed and smaller prop at a higher speed? I am not big on speed but would like to reduce the speed at wich the plane stalls on landing. I have an OS FX 46 and runing a 11X5 and want to try 12X5 or 12X6. The plane is a hanger 9 ultra stick. Thanks
..I really don't know your plane but if it's a made to fly fast and you have full symmetrical wings the and/stall speed is going to be higher.
I know what your trying.
Run the engine slow and let the prop produce the drag.
Flying behind the power curve is not a good i'dea and can give you a sudden unexpected stall.
Hard to give an answer with out knowing what plane you have
