Default RE: ParkZone conversion to Warbird Q&A

Well I grabbed a new .25, receiver and some servos guess I'm going to make it happen this way.

I am Glassing the cowl now and the cg seems to be good.

I make exhaust system for rc cars/trucks and so now that I am into planes I decided to make one for the .25. Should help me with the CG a bit since the Slimline exhaust is kinda heavy (and a poor performance design). The guy I grabbed the new 25 from thru in a Slimline pitts exhaust and it ended up being for an FP. So I guess I'll be throwing that thing on eBay

While I'm here I might as well explain a prob I am having with this plane tho...

I grabbed a Airtronics Trans and Rec. It has a Ch27 tx and rx and works fine. I have a Futaba receiver with a matching Futaba sports trans to go into the P-30 it's on ch48 with Dual Conversion futaba crystals. Both work fine. Problem is if I take the 48 Tx and throw it in the Airtronics Trans the Futaba Rec jitters the servos badly and loses signal 5 foot away.
I tried all options and what I came up with is that if I take the Ch27 Crystal and use it in either Rec all works well no probs but If I try to use the Ch48 in any way other than in the Futaba Rec and Futaba Sports Trans it acts all crazy. I guess what I am asking is WHY? and can I just buy another matching Ch27 for the futaba receiver so that I can run both planes from the Airtronics as like I said when I throw in the Ch27 crystal into the Futaba Rec it works fine with the Airtronics Trans. I guess I am just afraid there is something different about the Ch27 crystals that I don't know about and need to make sure I get the exact same thing I have thats working right now. Man I hope you guys can follow all that LOL.

BTW heres some pics of the exhaust I made for the P-30...
I had to remove the engine for the glassing so I just throw a rubber band to hold the exhaust on to give the idea.
