Sorry for the late reply, I only just saw this link on RunRyder. Your heli is an MFA Hughes 500 not the later Sport 500. It's a much earlier machine from around 1980, I've never seen pics online of one before although my brothers pristine uncrashed example is still in storage at my parents house. The giveaway is that it's full body Hughes 500D (round nose & T tail) not the pointy nosed E model fuz that was available as an option for the MFA Sport 500 (that came standard as a pod 'n' boom layout) It used old style Morley fixed pitch head, tail and transmission parts. We could never get the head to work well as it always chewed out the little rubber teeter blocks and went all wobbly. We eventually changed it to a much nore rigid head based on a fixed pitch Schluter center block and it flew quite well (for an old fashioned fixed pitch machine without a gyro) Incidentaly the kit came with some little black plastic right angle brackets to mount the servos beside the central aluminium keel.
