Yea I found out about the Channel mixing with other brands yesterday after enough research
But I did learn something thats music to my hears.
The Airtronics Trans I have (RD6000) Will work with all brand Receivers, Forward (AirT/JR and Revers (HiTech/Futaba) but in order to use a new Crystal CH the radio has to be re-tuned so the bottom line I learned is I can run all my planes off this one controller as long as they all have the same channel (second part obvious). The rule that you can not mix up radio brands/equipment is slowly starting to fade with Transmitters coming out like this one. The Manual said something about it working with other Models in PPM-Rev Mode but it wasn't very clear on it. I then researched and tried and tested it, it's a great feature and also nice that with each model I program into the controller can be set up for it's own receiver style: PPM-FM, PCM1, PCM2 and PPM-FM-Rev <--- for Futaba and Hitech. No changing Modes from plane to plane.
IDK I thought it was nice.
