I'm running about 900W with mine, and it has much power. I would not go below 500W though. It would be nice to be lighter, mine is quite heavy for the wing type and area. I would make sure you keep the weight down wherever you can. Also, NEVER let your fuse sit in a hot car on a sunny day, it will actually get soft and distort.
