Im new with helis also and I too just bought a CPP last week. I found it to be set up pretty well out of the box, what with tracking and what not. Radd is def the way to go for starters. If you follow his program you will begin what your heli wants to do on the ground first and tune your trim and 4-1 pretty well before you get it in the air. I found I had to tweak the gain slightly and also proportion as I was having to hold too much right rudder. Now I can hover through most of a pack at about a foot or so fairly stable, almost hands off sometimes. It just takes time and I am still getting the hang of the little bugger. I still havnt been able to find a very good site for setup, mostly just trial and trial and hopefully not too many errors!!
