I had a pink kite at one time. Actually, it was a HOT pink and very sharp. The guys at the soccer field had a good bit of respect for it, because it was one of those Hawian stunt kits, it sounded like something between a 747 and a hornet when going ballistic in its turns too. These kites would pull very hard, and this one would travel at speeds up to 150 miles per hour. Of course, that's not as fast as dynamic soaring, but still up there with some R/C jets.
I thank you all for the suggestions. It looks like the Eaglet would be the most affordable kit, so I do believe I'll go with it. Meanwhile, I'll have to think up a color theme that would work for it. By the way, the club closest to me has a grass field, so I'll probably have to fit it with 3" wheels. Does anybody care to comment here? I am sure that, some skis, and floats would make it a nice bush plane. Also, a red and white color theme (like found on some Aviat Huskys) and a white Grish prop could make this one really stand out. Take a look at this link:

Now, picture an Eaglet with that color theme down to the red nose cone, and a white prop with black tips. Think it would work? Or, perhaps this scheme:

Well, let me know what ya'll think.
