RE: My first twin
Here is a plane that may suit your needs. It is a Twin Lizzie 2, a balsa & ply construction for two .049s or electrics. Weighs in at 35 oz. and has a 52.8" span. Wing area: 408 sq.in. It looks very nice, don't you think?
It was originally a 1959 M.A.N. plan by Keith Laumer that has been redesigned and published in the April 2006 issue of Flying Models magazine. You can order the plans from [link=http://www.flying-models.com/]Flying Models[/link], look for plan CD276.
