Hey folks!
I have the .12 R ss with a 2 needle rotary carb..
Right now.. the engine hesitates to keep running when I start it..
Right after I start it, I have to run it at high rpms for a minute then let idle otherwise it dies.. Also, when its cold, if I slam the throttle it dies in a heartbeat! Top end response is decent but I fear it might be a little lean (hot). I have a temp gun comin.. in the mail

!
I'm thinking I should open up the high end and close the low end each by 2x 1/8 turns or whatever works..
Am I on the right track?
Hi speed needle controls the max fuel so it controls the low speed as well to an extent right?
And.. how the heck does the low speed needle work? I mean.. where is it located and how does it regulate low speed mixture but not do anything for high speed?!
Thanks for looking!
