I've talked to a few of my club members, not all of them,( total of 285 members)and received various answers, so I sent for a cowl from StansFiber Tech in Calif.
I explained to Stan what I intended to do and he said he would for a small sum MOLD me a two piece cowl with a built- in lip that the top part of the cowl would sit on
Epoxy some 4-40 blind nuts on the lip and youv'e got the perfect fit.
That was the perfect answer to a problem.
I've never dealt with Stans before but you better believe that I will be his best customer from now on.
