They do fly really well and if you are going from sealed runways they shouldn't be too much of a problem. Ours flew nicely & with a Saito 72 in it at the end it was quite a performer. Unfortunately the grass runways that we had in Oz caused a few issues with things like the landing gear and firewall if we didn't get the landing perfect - in the end it just wasn't worth rebuilding after a reasonably hard landing (Not a crash by any stretch of the imagination). There was a couple at Fort Bend where I had the joy of flying over the past year or so and they didn't seem to have much problem there but the runways are paved at that great facility.
