poco242 What makes the 42cc heavier than the 46cc?? I thought they were basically the same engine except for how the carb mounts. I have a 42cc but not a 46cc for comparison. I don't see how the 42cc could be made much lighter, except perhaps to mill off some cooling fins. It is a fairly compact engine. I didn't actually bother to weigh my 42cc, but it's on the front of my Giant Big Stik and I didn't have to add any tail weight to get the c.g. right on....
