Asked SIG technician about appropriate engines for Rascal 110, and reply was they had good results with 1.20+ 4C, and small gas engines, but 1.20 2C glow would be OK. SPecifically asked about Zenoah G23 and RCS 1.4, and answer was "OK".
Originally bought a GMS 1.20 (2C glow) for the Rascal 110 for $129 new from MECOA using their "trade in" offer - a bargain. Then decided to switch to gas and bought Zenoah G23 on sale at Chief RC for $200, a few months back.
Now my Rascal has the Zenoah G23 mounted on its firewall. Had to trim the two top-side corners of the G23's mounting plate to fit the cowl's curve on top side, but width-wise it did fit nose nicely.
Folks suggested using a 16/8 prop.
At least that's what I am doing, and can't wait to fly!
