The DF4 is quite robust. Buy 1 or two training gear when you buy it. One to use and one to cut up so you can use it if you break the stabilizer rod or landing gear or anything made of those cf rods. The tail motors are a bit of a problem. You could get some spares when you order the heli. It's really up to you. You could get a flight sim. FMS is great. It's freeware. Practice on that and you'll decrease your chances of crashing.
