Default RE: World Models Ultimate 40S

BTW, the airframe is the same one that was designed and sold as a 30size airplane. It didn't sell well with that designation, so they simply started advertising it as a 40size. And people started putting 46's on it because they thought it was a 40size and everyone knows if a 40 is good, a 46 would be better. This is a small, light airplane to be hanging behind a 46.

I've got a backup 40S that's still in the box. After flying my first one, I bought the backup because I knew I'd want one in my hangar for a long time to come. And I knew how hard I was flying this one and figured I'd stick it sooner than later. (So far the most "damage" is to the tread on the tires. It's wearing off.) I plan to build the backup with a 40 on it, not a 46. The airframe is very light for a 46 and I had to move stuff inside to the back to get it to balance. And it doesn't need the extra power and I'm not using that extra power at all.

These airplanes are not going to be tailheavy with a 30size structure behind a larger than designed for engine. Tailheavy is often the reason for snappy, turn out of loops, flight behavior. When they still act snappy and they're not tailheavy, then something is wrong with the trim or there are warps. This sucker is too tight to have warps, but look. You won't find any. But you will have a trim problem. Those ailerons.
