Well the Raiden tech showed up today.
Not overly impressed so far.
The covering on the bottom of the plane is all purple.
I am missing the wing alignment templates.
the cowling purple color is waaaaaa off.
It is blue to everyone I asked.

The construction is okay.
It is a knockoff of the world models plane.
I think I am going to send it back.
Where can I get the World models Ultimate plane.
This one is a very poor copy of a Ultimate IMO.
the price was 119.00 and 11 for shipping.

I should have bought the World models version.

Is the main landing gear flush mounted or recessed into the lower fuselage? I had problems with the gear on the Global Ultimate cracking the fuse sides due to lg flex on landings.

Here is my Ultimate ready for its maiden on Saturday. It has a Magnum .80fs for power and all standard servos. It was a good quality kit and the instructions and packing of all the parts bags for all the individual steps was great.

I have the yellow version in the box yet. I am not sure what engine 2 or 4 stroke. This is a pretty small bipe. Leaning towards an OS .46. If any one has a video or more pictures please post.

Hello everyone, built my plane stock with a TT pro 46, and it has this tendency of yawing to the left on loops or whenever I apply engine, it is also snapping quite a lot when It gets a little low on speed, it is being quite a nimble hands full plane.... I have changed a little the thrust and added down thrust and my CG is on 3" from leading edge....

What props is everyone using for this ?? My TT 46 has a 11x6, tried placing a 12x4 for some vertical performance but it got much worse....

Thanks,
Cosmos

There are posts and at least one thread that include discussion and pictures and drawings about the airplane's ailerons and their connections.

The stock hardware and rigging cause the ailerons on the top wing to move somewhat less on the side going up and a lot less on the side going down. That results in an airplane whose 4 ailerons are moving 3 different amounts at once. Makes a great airplane into a "hands full plane", wouldn't ya' say?

do a search
the info is already here

I've been flying mine a lot the last week or so. It's excellent. Yesterday we had enough wind that a number of the regulars at the field sat out most of the day. I was trying to get 'em to fly by showing them how the little baby would do "hover landings". Must have done 5 or 10. Mine has no tendency to snap out of anything. Look up the aileron rigging posts.

I'm flying an OS46AX on mine. It will go straight up for a long way with either an 11x6TF or my favorite, an 11.25x5. That favorite, I make by trimming a 12x5 TF wood. I put the raked tips on it. Measuring the diameter to the middle of that tip. I worked out the diameter measurement through experimentation. Got nothing but gut feel for it's suitability. But I have found that a number of my other 46size airplanes with the OS46AX like prop fans of 11.25" to 11.5" diameter.

I use 10% fuel that has some castor in the oil mix.

Mine is a sweetheart.

BTW, the airframe is the same one that was designed and sold as a 30size airplane. It didn't sell well with that designation, so they simply started advertising it as a 40size. And people started putting 46's on it because they thought it was a 40size and everyone knows if a 40 is good, a 46 would be better. This is a small, light airplane to be hanging behind a 46.

I've got a backup 40S that's still in the box. After flying my first one, I bought the backup because I knew I'd want one in my hangar for a long time to come. And I knew how hard I was flying this one and figured I'd stick it sooner than later. (So far the most "damage" is to the tread on the tires. It's wearing off.) I plan to build the backup with a 40 on it, not a 46. The airframe is very light for a 46 and I had to move stuff inside to the back to get it to balance. And it doesn't need the extra power and I'm not using that extra power at all.

These airplanes are not going to be tailheavy with a 30size structure behind a larger than designed for engine. Tailheavy is often the reason for snappy, turn out of loops, flight behavior. When they still act snappy and they're not tailheavy, then something is wrong with the trim or there are warps. This sucker is too tight to have warps, but look. You won't find any. But you will have a trim problem. Those ailerons.

BTW, check the throws on all surfaces. Any surface can stall if it moves too far would contribute to the tendency you're seeing.
