RE: choices
1/10th scale use alcohol mixed with 2 stroke oil and nitromethane. Depending on the fuel that you get it could run you inbetween 20 to 30 dollars a gallon for fuel. But a gallon of fuel will last you for a while so dont get all woried about having to dish out a ton of money on gas every 2 or 3 weeks. You can get gasoline powered but those are usually 1/5th in scale and cost a ton more then the smaller 1/10th scale and you can not beat them like you would the 1/10th scale vehicles.
The reason why the fuel cost so much is because there is nitromethane in the fuel. These smaller engine's need the nitromethane to make the power that these engine do. If there was no nitro in the fuel the vehicles would make about half the power that they do now. But a gallon of fuel will last for a while. You will not be able to burn a gallon of fuel in one day unless you run your engine extremely rich and are full throttle the whole time and drive it for hours on end. Especially if you get a .12 or .15 it will take you all day of running to get that gallon of fuel empty.
I hope this has helped you.
