I do it the same way Kevlar does. Except I just use hot tap water, as hot as it comes out of the faucet. I check it every few minutes until it's as dark as I want it. I once forgot and left a US 60 canopy in all night. You couldn't see through it unless you held it up to the light. I think I was using black dye....
