Default Attatching landing gear on SIG Wonder?

The Wonder flys fine using a standard 600 mah square pack (2 cells wide, 2 thick) I haven't tried the 600 mah flat pack forfitting in the fuselage. (it would be tight at best) Standard (Futaba 3003 or equiv) servos fit and will work.

The lower you can keep the weight, the better you'll like the plane. Using HS-81 servos for aileron and elevator, a sub-micro HS-55) for throttle, 270 mah pack (I have used a $9 Radio Shack portable phone battery pack) and a GWS micro 4 Ch RX really brings the weight down. (but watch your radio range with the micro RX...)

The Wonder is very easy to build. But it is definitely not a good plane for a beginner. It can do loops with a radius of its own wingspan when it is light and has the rearmost CG practical.

A trick for the elevator servo... mount the servo arm and a steel clevice tot he servo. use all-thread rod for the pushrod and a plastic clevice at the control horn. mount the servo upside down then thread the pushrod to the clevice on the servo. You get a straighter pushrod run to the elevator control horn. eliminates the uneven (more up than down) throw that comes from the way the plans say to place the elevator servo.
