RE: Test Bench
I went with something home built similiar to Jimmbbo's but a bit more elaborate.
One piece of 1/4" wood was used to build the whole thing.
I drop the test bench into a Black and Decker shop mate. THe Shop Mate clamps a piece of wood which hangs from the main board of the bench.
The motor mount is elevated on a crude wood square that has a tank mount aside it.
A pushrod attached to a simple handle acts as a throttle.
It took about 20 minutes to build with epoxy and drywall screws.
Works great, less filling.
