A buddy of mine had to replace the speed control in his Typhoon because it burnt up. That may be your problem too. I've had to replace everything that came pre installed in my Typhoon, except the motor. Its a cool plane but it seems that everybody that I know that has one has had to do their own modifications to it. Good Luck
