The rear reed valve Weedeater engines have a round exhust port cast into the cylinder. The muffler is held on with springs. It is physically larger then the Ryobi and has courser fins. It has small ports and passages and the case is not as stuffed as the Ryobi. The 32cc, like mine has 80 thousands clearance between the squish band and the piston. The rod is steel and the piston is heavier then the Ryobi. I'll take some photos later, since it is no my bench now. It is the same basic layout as the Ryobi, but an entirely different engine.
