Default RE: 1500+ Watt MEGA-Zilla Stryker

clovus,
I just got a whole lot more intimidated today.
My last meter (fairly new) had gone bad, and I thought that I was pulling 76.25 Amps for 1159Watts.
Today, I found out that I am pulling 10 Amps more and it has almost 400 Watts more than I thought(full charge battery).
Extra 400 Watts??????
That's why I just got more intimidated.
My father should be coming to town soon, so I think the maiden flight will be before the end of next weekend.

I have asked my brother to provide a Video Camera.
I know he is going to fly it more than he will video it. LOL....

I will install the battery by tomorrow, sure glad to get ride of my UBEC.

***Oh yeah, since my digital scale only goes to 5.5 LB, I could not put the Stryker nose down, zero it out and then punch it. The combination of Stryker's weight and thrust would go over the 5.5 lb limit.

So I stood on the bathroom scale, held the plane, gave full throttle. It showed about 4 1/2 Lb thrust with APC pylon 6.5X6.5 prop.
I need to repeat it again with a digital bathroom scale or another scale that can read up to about 8 LB.

I do have a cheap digital fish type scale, $15 from some cheap clothing store. I will rig some thing up and give that a try too.
