The elevators are joined together with one thick shaped wire, and should only need one control horn on one side to control both elevators. The plans and instructions should be fairly clear on this. Be sure to use low rates on everything with this plane. It is a jump up in required skill level from your trainer, regardless of how well you were flying it. If you take your time, let someone else do the initial flightcheck and flight. These planes are a blast to fly. Have fun!! My 2 cents.
