Default Sig Somethin Extra help!

Hi Montu,

I sure am sorry for all the problems you are experiencing with your Something Extra. I have read all the threads regarding your postings. I must agree with everyone's advice however. This plane at best is going to be a handful for you. I don't have one, but I have flown another members. Even at your quick learning pace, I think it would be a really good choice for a third plane. I would like to make a suggestion to you. Consider a good low wing trainer. A couple of newer fliers in our club went from their trainers to a Hangar 9 Advance 40. This plane has a pretty wide performance envelope. It is a tricycle gear configuration. It takes off and lands very nicely and has fairly gentle stall characteristics. As they progressed, they increased their control throws and this plane performs a pretty impressive list of manuevers. Another good choice is a plane that I went to from my trainer. It was a Goldberg Tiger 2. I see now that is is offered as an ARF also. But if you must try the SE, be sure to have an experienced flier check it out first. And I will "kick a dead horse" here too. Be sure to carefully read and follow all instructions on these planes. It will save you time and grief that you are presently going through. Best of luck to you.

Jeff
