Please pardon me for cuttin in guys. I figured I'd take this opportunity to ask a question that's been bugging me for a few years now re. the Midwest version of the Mach 1. Was it changed any from Norm Page's original? I've heard (second or third hand admittedly) that it was and that Mr. Page was unhappy about it. I understand kit makers have to do this sometimes to maximize their wood, foam supplies etc. so I'm not trying to point a finger here.

The few times I've seen one of these kits on Ebay this question always pops up in the back of my mind so I pass it by. On the other hand sometimes I'll give in to impulse and put in an OUTRAGEOUS bid of around $200 only to see the winning bidder win the auction with a final bid of around $400 (yikes!) Scratchbuilding is looking better all the time...
