Crank breather hose is actually the pulse and goes to the carb, the side with the single screw in the center, the other fitting that is on the cover with the 4 screws in each corner is an atmosphere vent, either leave it as is or attach some fuel line and lead it into the fuse. there are some pictures on the MVVS support pages.
